š I'm a Staff Product Manager, passionate about user research, and I carry the experience of being an entrepreneur. My international background is multifaceted. Education has been a cornerstone of my development - at New York University and NYU Shanghai, I secured a BS in Interactive Media and Business. My thirst for knowledge led me further to Columbia University, where I attained an MS in Technology Management.
š¬ What truly sets my heart ablaze is user research. My education gave me an exceptional blend of skills, and I ardently apply these to delve into the minds and behaviors of users. Understanding their needs, motivations, and pain points is a pursuit that is incredibly fulfilling to me. It is the compass that guides my product management decisions, ensuring that the products I contribute to are innovative and genuinely resonate with and serve the people who use them. My international experience further adds depth to this passion, allowing me to approach user research from a diverse, global perspective.
š In addition to my professional pursuits, Iām an avid traveler who has had the pleasure of living on 3 continents and exploring around 30+ countries. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for languages, cross-cultural communication, and navigating collaboration with teams across multiple time zones.
š Creativity is another facet of my personality that I hold dear. I have authored an award-winning crime novel and produced an award-winning short film, both of which are endeavors that I am immensely proud of.
āØ I am also dedicated to giving back to the product community. As the Founder of a Product Management Society, I actively contribute to the industry and foster professional development.
āļø Outside the realm of work and professional commitments, I find joy in my personal pursuits. I am the proud owner of a delightful Mein Coot cat named Penny. My mornings are invigorated with a cup of coffee, and I frequently engage in reflective writing for Medium. As an ardent reader, I am particularly fond of mystery novels, and relish the intellectual engagement they provide.
